This document is published by arrangement with the General Board of the General
Conference Mennonite Church and the Mennonite Church General Board by the Mennonite
Publishing House Scottdale, Pennsylvania and Waterloo, Canada.
Pastors, teachers, congregations, agencies and others who wish to include brief excerpts
of the confession text in church bulletins, instructional pieces and other printed or
electronic media are requested to carry the reference "From the Confession of
Faith in a Mennonite Perspective." When the amount of text exceeds two
paragraphs, please add the phrase, "Used by permission."
The full text of the Confession of Faith in a Mennonite Perspective
includes an extended treatment of all articles. Every article is accompanied by a
commentary that further develops each one. A Scripture index lists every Bible text cited
in each article and commentary.
